-- In this present research, it was carried out the quantitative determination of phenol and hippuricacid levels in forty workers that work in mending and design of Fottwear From Virrey Amat Market in Rimac District, who use adhesives frequently, which in their chemical composition present substances as bencene and toluene at concentrations ranging from 1% to 3%. The quantitative determination of phenols and hippuric acid was carried out by the spectro photometric method of Banfi and Marenzi and Titration method of Weichselbaum and Probstein respectively. It was found high levels of phenols and hippuric acid in Urine. In the quantitative assay of hippuric acid in urine, the mean valve mas 2.05g/L and the quantitative assay of phenols in urine in the same sample had 220.6 mg/L as a mean valve. These values are indicative of both exposure to benzene and toluene as the reference values, according to the WHO for phenols is less than 75 mg/L for acid hippuric is 0.4 to 1.4 g/L in urine. The toxicological analyses were carried out in the toxicology and legal chemistry lab of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of San Marcos Major National University.
