--- The present study has as it’s main objective to determine the lifestyles of patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis in the “Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo“. The approach is quantitative, application level, descriptive method, cross section. The population consisted of 100 patients aged 18 to 75 years of age who answered inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique was the survey, interview, questionnaire instrument. The results were 67 (100%) patients surveyed, 36 (54%) have unhealthy lifestyles and 31 (46%) have healthy lifestyles. In the physical dimension 37 (55%) patients have healthy lifestyles and 30 (45%) have unhealthy life styles. In the psychological dimension 41 (61%) patients have unhealthy lifestyles and 26 (39%) have healthy lifestyles. In the social dimension 49 (73%) patients have unhealthy lifestyles and 18 (27%) have healthy lifestyles. The conclusions derived from this study are that the lifestyles of patients with chronic renal failure with hemodialysis are partially healthy both in physical size and in the psychological and social dimensions so that could affect their quality of life.
