--- The purpose of this study was to determine the level of information, the previous experience in dental trauma and the attitude of the parents and teachers about the emergency management of dental avulsion and tooth fracture in children, it was applied to a questionnaire to 372 teachers and 400 parents of Metropolitan the central area of Lima; results showed regulate level of information of parents and teachers, an uncertain attitude of parents and teachers on the management for an avulsed tooth, an uncertain attitude of the parents and an appropriate attitude of the teachers on the management of tooth fracture, 36,3% of the parents and 29,6% of the teachers have had previous experience in dental trauma, the occupation of the parents influences in its level of information, was observed that to greater professional development of the teachers it increases the level of information on the trauma, 68% of the parents and the 71,8% of the teachers have not received information of dental first aid of any source, to greater age increases the proportion of parents who have an appropriate attitude on the management for an avulsed tooth, the parents with great level education (81.8%) have an uncertain attitude on the management for an avulsed tooth; there was statistically significant association between the information level and the attitude of the parents and teachers on management of dental avulsion and tooth fracture in children, there was no statistically significant association between the previous experience and the attitude of the parents and teachers; educational campaigns are necessary to improve dental first aid of people lay.
