-- The Infections Transmitted bye Sex (ITS) and AIDS are a big public health problem for our country because they are in the fourth place of sick and death in Peru and the 97% of cases are transmitted by sex and the ITS make easy the way to get IHV. The most worriest is that the most of cases are get in the adolescent. The objective of this investigation is to determine the ITS and AIDS program’s effectiveness in teenagers knowledge level who assist to the External Attention Center “Gambeta”, in 2006, and the hypothesis was: “When the nurses make an educative program about ways to prevent ITS and AIDS in teenagers, they increase their knowledge.” The method was almost-experimental, with intervention. The population was conformed of 30 teenagers. The technic was the test, and the instrument was semi-structured quiz. The most important conclusions are: The program about ITS and AIDS prevention was effective because all the teenagers increase the level of their knowledge form “MEDIUM” level to “HIGH” level. The teenagers Knowledge level about ways to prevent AIDS before the program was “LOW” and after the program, it increase. The teenager knowledge level about ways to transmit ITS and AIDS increase in 20%after the program, and it become in “HIGH” level.
