--- OBJECTIVE. Evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the educational program on AIDS learning skills in obstetrics teenage students of the National University of San Marcos, may to july 2014. METHODOLOGY. Cuasi-experimental, longitudinal, prospective study in 50 adolescents midwifery students who were administered questionnaires measuring knowledge, attitudes and procedures prior to implementation of the educational program (pre-test) and three postprogram (posttest 1, 2 and 3) measurements. Subsequently descriptive and inferential statistics with a level of statistical significance was applied pޒ0,05. RESULTS. The level of knowledge before implementation of the program was 6.64 points and at the end of subsequent evaluations reached 8.22 points with a significant difference (p<0,001). When starting the program 10% had a good knowledge at the end of the program 32% came to have good knowledge. Mean attitudes did not change significantly before and after the way the program implementation, with 19.24 points in the pretest and 19.00 points to end the program. The procedures on average did not change significantly, with the significant difference in the diagnostic pretest grew to 46% that did not solve it, reaching 8% after the program. On the pretest 24% offered this procedure presented a diagnostic test, reaching 78% in the posttest. CONCLUSSION. The educational program was effective in learning skills of adolescent students knowledge of the Academic Professional School of Obstetrics at the National University of San Marcos, may to july 2014.
