*** Objective: Determine the level of exhaustion the family caregiver of the elderly frail, which goes to Senior Program in the Service Center for Older Adults “Tayta Wasi“. Materials and Methods: The present study is a quantitative approach, descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 48 family caregivers who attend the program in the Elderly Care Center Elderly “Tayta Wasi“ in the district of Villa María del Triunfo. Technique was used as an instrument structured and Zarit scale and validated (22 items) interview. Reliability was assessed with Cronbach Alpha (α = 0.857). The data were subjected to nonparametric Chi box, in order to determine if significant differences exist between the inner central variable proportions and dimensions in levels (not overload, On light load, Heavy Overload). Results: 54.2% of family caregivers have Slight Overload, followed by the 31.3% of family caregivers with Heavy Overload and 14.5% of family caregivers show a No overload. Conclusions: Family caregivers of frail elderly who attend the program in the Elderly Care Center Elderly “Tayta Wasi“ Mild feature overload, so the hypothesis is acceptable.
