*** In recent years, the older population is increasing, according to INEI (2012) gave I know that the population of adults aged 60 and older amounted to 2 million 712 thousand and represent 9.0% of the population whole country. It is estimated that by 2021, this population group at 3 million 727 thousand. Before that population increase professional caregivers need to focus research studies in this age group to help as and family adult to face the aging process understood as a natural and adaptive change through preventive and promotional activities for that reason he wanted to conduct this research study, entitled “ Mood in the family environment in the opinion of the elderly Health Center users Leonor Saavedra , SJM - 2013 “ , whose overall objective is to determine the characteristics of the social climate in the family environment older adults. The purpose of the study is aimed at promoting the design and improvement of the various programs offered by the Center for Health Leonor Saavedra considering the characteristics of family social climate in order to enhance the promotion of active and healthy aging. The present study is a quantitative investigation of application level, descriptive method, cross-sectional. The study was conducted at the Center for Health Leonor Saavedra, the sample consisted of 50 older adults. The instruments applied were the Brief Scale of Yesavage, Pfeiffer abbreviated questionnaire and then the modified scale was applied Family Social Climate. The data processing was performed using the statistical test Stanones Scale, after this we proceeded with the analysis and interpretation of results reaching the following general conclusion: The social climate in the family of the elderly in the relational dimension development, and stability is of a fairly favorable level, followed by a lower positive level, and in the unfavorable ratio.
