The objective of this research was to determine the position and development of third molars according to available space, level of depth and angle of inclination, to find the index of difficulty that occurs most frequently. 50 stories were elected clinics with their panoramic radiographs met the criteria of the research, the sample consisted of a study sample of 50 patients and 100 pieces third molars that were used to analyze which 40% belonged to male persons and 60% female persons, age of the people studied are between 12 and 17 years with a mean of 14.7 and standard deviation of 1.53, the position was more frequently found in Class III position C with 29% followed by class II position C with 26% and third class I position C with 22%, the space that was predominant class II, which present the percentage of 82%, according to the dominance index of difficulty moderate difficulty in 59% followed very difficult in 37% of third molar development according to the index of dominance NOLLA full crown by 31% followed by 28% the third root.
