The chosen level of statistical significance was p is less than 0,05. Results. In accordance with the results of our work, they have high sensibility, specificity with value obtained positive predictive believes that the use of the ultrasonography for the diagnosis of sharp appendicitis in our hospital, allows us to increase the grade of diagnostic certainty depending on the evolution stadium. In the advanced stages a high correlation exists between the description and the conclusion histopathology, but this is low in the initial faces of the illness. It is this way in evidence that the surgeon subdiagnostica the healthy appendix existing a diagnostic real error, although he/she appears as something not very high regarding other publications, it is adjusted totally to that accepted, stiller if it is considered that this series has a significant number of patient pediatric that confer him/her a bigger difficulty to the initial diagnostic. He/she gets the attention that there is 1,5% of tumors in the dried up pieces in spite of being a considerable number of cases, this maybe due to the chance, since in previous years they have not been carried out studies in this respect.
