The majority of the works of epidemiology of the porcine cysticercosis in the Peru have limited themselves calculating the prevalence, he is worth saying, they have measured the presence of the disease in a certain moment. The present thesis gives attention to the rate of infection or the force of morbidity of this disease, expressed as incidense accumulated, that is to say, the appearance of new cases in a period of time. Two samplings were realized in the totality of the porcine population of Matapalo's village (Zarumilla, Tumbes) in order to measure the effect, the first one of 922 animals, finding 638 negative and 284 positives representing a prevalence of 30.8 ± 3.0 The second sampling was carried out to the three months of the first one where a prevalence of 20.82 was situated ± 2.9 Of 638 negative animals to the first sampling 314 they were evaluated again in the second sampling. Of these, 36 they seroconverted to the test EITB, which resulted in an incidense accumulated of 11.5 ± 3.5 in a period of three months. In turn, factors of exhibition were analyzed for the prevalence of the porcine cysticercosis thinking that the variables village, age and trip represent a factor of risk to find a positive animal. With regard to the effect one thought that the variables village, age, immunological condition of the mother and sex represent risk factors to contract the disease.
