--- Sexually transmitted infections is a public health problem in the adolescent population. The objective was to determine the attitude of adolescents towards prevention of STI / HIV. Materials and Methods. The study is level application, quantitative, cross-sectional descriptive method. The sample consisted of 71 students. The technique was the survey instrument modified Likert scale, applied prior informed consent. Results. 100% (71), 50% (35) show an attitude of indifference, 30% (22) acceptance and 20% (14) rejection. The dimension 92% risk factor (66) have indifference 5% (3) acceptance and 3% (2) rejection. In the prevention dimension 97 (69) indifference and 3% (2) rejection. Regarding the risk exposure dimension the pair have that 100% (71) present an attitude indifference. Conclusions. Most teens have an attitude of indifference toward the prevention of STI / HIV refers to having sex with a prostitute (prostitute) and if one is careful, it's hard getting an STI / HIV, you can have sex with the couple both have sex with other people but protecting nice to have multiple partners at once. Similarly, in the dimension of risk factors, prevention and risk exposure to the couple, given that the first sexual intercourse is unnecessary care, you can have sex with other people to avoid infecting protecting the couple, is unnecessary love to have a sexual intercourse.
