--- There is very little information published on bat helminth parasites. Because of this, we created a study in Parque Nacional Cerros de Amotape (PNCA). To do this we collected a total of 60 bats between September (2006) and March (2007). We used mist-nets that were located in different localities (Campo Verde, Naranjal, Faical, angostura and Bocana carrillo), within the districts of Matapalo and Pampas de Hospital in the Tumbes Region. Helminthes were collected from the small intestine and the abdominal cavity. The results were tree genuses of nematodes in the families Molineidae (Tricholeiperia), Onchocercidae (Litomosoides) and Seuratidae (Seuratum), and two genuses of cestodes: Vampirolepis (Fam. Hymenolepididae) and Atriotaenia (Fam. Anoplocephalidae). Tricholeiperia nova sp. is a new species to science found in the host Lophostoma silvicolum (Fam. Phyllostomidae). Seuratum sp. and Vampirolepis sp. were found for the first time in the hosts, Micronycteris megalotis (Fam. Phyllostomidae) Noctilio leporinus (Fam. Noctilionidae) respectively. All helminthes collected are new records for PNCA. Atriotaenia hastati and Seuratum sp. are new to Peru, with the later being a new record for South America.
