El Componente crecimiento y desarrollo : significado para las madres de niños de 1 a 4 años del AAHH Nueva Unión, Comas-2009

Abstract

El Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo, es un conjunto de actividades que contribuyen, mejorando el estado de salud de la población infantil a través de la evaluación oportuna, periódica y sistemática del crecimiento y desarrollo, de la niña y el niño menor de 9 años detectando precozmente riesgos, alteraciones o trastornos del crecimiento y desarrollo, para su atención y referencia; promoviendo prácticas adecuadas de cuidado y crianza a nivel familiar y comunitario. El presente estudio fue de tipo cualitativo, con enfoque de Estudio de Caso Cualitativo titulado: El Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo: Significado para las Madres de Niños de 1 a 4 Años del AAHH Nueva Unión, con el objetivo de Comprender el significado que le conceden al Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo las madres de niños de 1 a 4 años de edad del AAHH Nueva Unión. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la entrevista semi-estructurada a doce madres y una abuela, y las observaciones realizadas en el Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Puesto de Salud 11 de Julio, la recolección de datos se realizó en el período de agosto del 2009 a enero del 2010. Para el análisis de los datos éstos fueron codificados y categorizados; finalmente emergieron los siguientes temas: Concepción de las madres sobre salud - enfermedad del niño, Concepciones de las madres sobre el Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo, Razones por las que las madres acuden o no al Componente CRED, Interrelación Madre – Enfermera - Niño. Los temas revelan el significado que las madres tienen sobre el Componente de Crecimiento y Desarrollo en relación a la salud del niño de 1 a 4 años, estableciéndose que las madres consideran como eje central de la atención de CRED la aplicación de las vacunas, que es la principal motivación por la que acuden al establecimiento de salud con su niño.

The present study was of qualitative type, with focus of Study of Case qualitative titled: The Component Growth and Development: Meaning for the Mothers of Children from 1 to 4 Years of AAHH New Union with the objective of Understanding the meaning that they grant to the Component of Growth and Development the mothers of children from 1 to 4 years of age of A.A.H.H New Union. The used techniques were the interview semi-structured to twelve mothers and a grandmother, and the observations carried out in the Component of Growth and Development of the Position of Health 11 of Julio, the gathering of data was carried out in the period of August from the 2009 to January of the 2010. For the analysis of the data these were coded and categorized; finally the following ones emerged you fear: the mothers' Conception it has more than enough health - illness of the children, Conceptions of the mother’s enough Component of Growth and Development, Reasons for those that the mothers go or not to Component CRED, Interrelation Mother - Nurse – child. The topics reveal the meaning that the mothers have on the component of Growth and Development in relation to the childs health from 1 to 4 years, settling down that the mothers consider as central axis of the attention of CRED the application of the vaccines that is the main motivation for that they go to the establishment of health with their child.
