Emerging trends in improving the functions and duties of health professional, raisesthe interest of nursesin theirspecialization,so the graduate unit of San Marcos, took this challenge and aims at training specialists great ability to meet the growing challenges of health problems, with high scientific and technological knowledge through teaching and learning process (E‐A) constructivist approach. This research seeksto determine the perceptions ofstudentsregarding the teaching‐learning process (E‐A), focusing on organizational aspects, pedagogical and technological, in both theory and clinical practice, developed in the second specialization program in Nursing (PSEE) where for research purpose is included the following specialties: Cardiology, Emergency and Disaster Pediatric Surgical Center, to identify critical points in the EA process and to define alternative solutions. Is a cross‐sectional descriptive study, the population is 41 students of the last semester. After an informed consent of each participant, data were collected through a survey using a structured questionnaire, during the month of October 2008,then data was presented in tables and graphsto be analyzed by frequency, arriving to the following conclusions: the perception of students regarding the E‐A process is fairly favorable, shows an unfavorable trend in the organizational and pedagogical dimension, being even more unfavorable in practicalteaching and in the technological dimension the perception ofthe E‐A process isfairly favorable.
