Introduction: Antenna endocavitary and spectroscopy MRI has a sensitivity and specificity of 91 and 95% in comparison with other imaging studies. Objectives: To determine the results of the magnetic resonance 3 tesla antenna endocavitary and spectroscopy in patients with diagnosis of prostate Cancer presumption.Design: Observacional, descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional. Place: Service of diagnosis by images of the HN2M. Pacients: Older than 50 years arising from the Urology. Service Results: Antenna endocavitaria and spectroscopy magnetic resonance imaging detects areas suspected or pathological hypointense behavior, which are suggestive of malignancy according to their behavior of molecular, obtaining a metabolic map of abnormal tissue that can guide the biopsy. Key words: magnetic resonance. Prostate Cancer. Spectroscopy.
