The Mineral deposit is related with the intrusive, which ones cuts the sedimentary sequence and principally in contact with the Jumasha limestone, and also with the stock Contonga. During the past of the years, have occurred Skarns and massive replacements of sulphides in carbonates, around of the intrusive as controlled layers of the fractured rock mass along the strata. In addition, it is noticeable a mineralized aureole all over the stock Contonga, the one that present fissured areas, cemented with sulphides. On the mine, as the others cracks of tasks executed underground, the structural stability depends of the conditions that are already on the rock mass and also the relation that exist between the efforts and the toughness on the rock. For that reason, it is planned to design the maximum gaps permissible, managing different geomechanics criteria’s, at the same time will be draw on the Method of Mathews for the design of the slots on the stope, reached dimensions that could facilitate the exploitation of the minerals, corroborated by the softwares Phases y Dips. According to the Stability Graph method, the maximum acceptable dimensions reached for the Stope 24 were: 16 x 28 x 100 meters of wide, height and Length, respectively. In contrast with the real labour, was performed an open maintaining an expected stability with no difficulty.
