--- Early Stimulation done for parent benefits remarkably the development of children´s abilities, what cause especially in mothers the need to be trained, by strategies done by Nursing Professionals. For these reason the following study has as an aim: resolve the effectiveness of the Intervention Nursing Programme “Moms to the Rescue” to increase the knowledge in first-time mothers about Early Stimulation throughout the first year of life at the Policlínico Chincha. Methodology: The quantitative study, applied level, preexperimental from pretest/postest level of an only design. The sample was formed by 20 first-time mothers got by sampling intentional unlikely. The technique that was used was the interview and the instrument was the questionnaire applied before and after the Intervention Nursing Programme. Results: From a set of 20 first- time mothers survey (100%), before being part in the Programme, the 100% (20) didn´t know about the Early Stimulation in the first year of life of a new born. Although, after their participation we can evidence that the 100% (20) of the mothers achieve to know about the topic. Conclusions: the Intervention Nursing Programme “Moms to the Rescue” was effective in the meaningful increase of knowledge in first-time mothers in the first year of life which was shown through the T of Student test, getting a result t calc.=-47.448, with a meaning level of 0.05, for that reason the Research of Hypothesis is accepted and rejects the Invalid Hypothesis KEY WORDS: Effectiveness, Intervention Nursing Programme, Early Stimulation, Psychomotor Development, Knowledge.
