The present research seeks to determine the possibility of adding new and fresh financial resources to the School of Administration Sciences. It has been found that there does not exist a written Institutional Strategic Plan for the CEUPS. 2002 was the best year in terms of income and new students; consequently, this year was the reference year on which to base projections for the next five years. Thus, 2005 was forecasted on the basis of the results of 2002. Assuming that 96 students were newly enrolled and assuming a 12% desertion level, income revenue exceeded that obtained in year 2002 by 10%. However, year 2005 will be the first test of the workability of our proposed strategic plan of “CEUPS - 2005-2009“. The research has found the strategies to follow to convert the CEUPS into a growing and lasting financial source for the School. Towards this end is necessary: 1. To identify and establish a fifth new educational program, and 2. To get at least two new agreements per year. (For example, expand educational services into the provinces or regional CEUPS universities.) These agreements should last at least one academic year or a 12-month period to help secure the penetration tactics into either the provincial on regional markets. If projections are to be maintained by 2009, the target of S/.548,000 of income revenue will be reached. This revenue will yield a net profit of S/.300,000 for the School. Furthermore, an important finding of the study is that 53% of the CEUPS' students come from private enterprises; 19% from government institutions; 19% are school graduates and unemployed graduates; 7% are independent people and 2% are profesional graduates. The courses offered by CEUPS are Finance Human Resource and Integrated Administration. Human Resources is a program to reinforce: the new name will be Personnel Management (“Dirección de Personas“). Finally, the main competitors in our higher educational market are: the CEUPS from the School of Accounting at San Marcos, the “Instituto Peruano de Administración de Empresas (IPAE) and the “Centro de Extensión y Proyección Social (CEPS) of the Private San Martin de Porres University. The San Ignacio de Loyola Institute is also entering the higher education market in Lima Metropolitan Area.
