-- The research was conducted in the Lima metropolitan area between 2010 and 2011, with the participation of industrial companies only previously selected variables were subject to evaluation: Government Information Technology and the competitive advantages obtained by its use. The objective to be achieved with the development of this research work is to answer the following question: How to implement a Government Information Technology will help in creating competitive advantages in the technological capabilities of the industrial enterprises in the Lima metropolitan?, for this purpose it was necessary to first define the concepts of Information Technology Government and Corporate Governance to determine the competitive advantages to be gained from its use, as well as to define the methods that allow evaluation. The investigation is justified because it has theoretical value, practical, social relevance, for your convenience and profit generating companies. Was based on administrative theories and systems, research is addressed according to the type of cross-sectional descriptive study non-probability, with a field design. The population was 30 industrial companies. We used observation and a survey was made up of 67 closed-ended questions, Likert scale, validated by expert judgment. The research results can be summarized as follows: (a) The existence of a Government Information Technology industry organizations allows them to optimize their production capabilities at a basic level, (b) Industrial companies that have implemented a government Information Technology are able to facilitate the receipt and transmission of information in industrial intermediate or advanced level. and (c) The implementation of an Information Technology Government contributes in creating competitive advantages in the technological capabilities of the industrial enterprises. -- Keywords: Corporate Governance, Information and Communication Technology, Business Management
