Currently, it has been observed that a large percentage of companies belonging to the logistics and storage sector in Peru lack the adequate infrastructure and/or management in order to cover the growing demand that the market has presented. Therefore, it is essential to establish necessary parameters to have appropriate warehouse management and efficiently use its resources. In this work, a warehouse management based on Lean Warehousing was implemented for a MSE logistics company focused on the storage and distribution processes of industrial products, since it was identified that it manifested a high rate of delivery of late orders leading to a negative net profit in 2021. Consequently, the Lean Warehouse Management philosophy was applied, developing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in order to identify the bottlenecks in the company's processes and the 5'S methodology to rethink the organization, cleaning and efficiency in the area to intervene. Likewise, the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) tool was developed, with the purpose of strategically distributing the stored merchandise and thus optimizing search times for products requested by the client based on an ABC categorization of their inventory. As a final result of the application of the improvement, a decrease in the delivery rate of late orders was achieved from 14.69% to 3.71% and it was demonstrated that it is economically viable, since the NPV (S/ 12,659) and IRR (45.03 %) were positive.
