In recent years, the textile industry has played a crucial role both globally and nationally. China stands out as the main exporter of clothing, representing more than 30% of global textile exports. In the case of Peru, textile activity plays a prominent role in the economy, contributing significantly to GDP. Large companies in the textile sector have made important advances in process automation, cost optimization, improving product quality and increasing the level of production service. They are adopting operational excellence methodologies, continuous improvement models and 4.0 technology, which places them at the forefront of the industry. These advances have improved their operational performance and have positioned them more competitively both nationally and internationally. The level of service in the processes is crucial at the operational level. The present study identified a loss of more than 600 USD in the dry-cleaning area, representing 8.5% of sales and highlighting it as the most critical for not reaching the previous year's goal. It is proposed to implement lean manufacturing tools and evaluate their impact under the continuous improvement approach. According to the reviewed literature, it is expected that this project will increase by up to 14.83%, after addressing the main causes, such as garment rejections due to quality and critical machinery stoppages due to low availability and high preparation times
