This research work serves as a reference to evaluate similar situations that exist in other areas of the districts that border or are part of the Vía Express Costa Verde. It also shares proposals for future geotechnical investigations, including the characterization of unsaturated or partially saturated soils and their relationships with detailed site evaluations using geophysical studies such as MASW. It provides academic details that ease the permitting or construction licenses within areas that are on the shoulder of the slope, as it summarizes the results of the application of static and pseudo-static analyses of stabilization solutions that could then be used as a discard or “trade-off“ in the search for permanent solutions. In summary, it raises awareness of the state of a building in the Lima district of Magdalena del Mar, in an area of the La Costa Verde cliffs that will have landslide problems in the future.
