The oil and gas sector from 2022 to 2023 in quarter two has had a drop of 53.57% in Profits by Sector (Macroeconomic Report: Second Quarter of 2023), which forces companies in the sector to be more efficient to remain competitive in the market. For this reason, this professional sufficiency work seeks to reduce the delay in the preparation of engineering, which generates cost overruns due to penalties and additional work hours. Industrial engineering tools will be applied to select the problem and identify the process to improve, first it will be standardized, evaluated and identified the root causes, to propose alternative solutions, improve the process and validate it, applying BPM - BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT and POWER PLATFORMS TOOLS. The work will be developed in 5 chapters. Firstly, the theoretical framework consists of detailing all the industrial engineering tools to be used such as BPM. Secondly, the sector and the company are described to select the problem and impact, describing the process to improve and the data collected from the process is analyzed. Thirdly, the methodology is selected, so BPM is applied to the POWER PLATFORMS engineering and tools development process.
