The following research “Proposal to optimize inspection times in a vehicle technical inspection company by implementing plant redistribution, TPM and 5S arises due to the increase in the number of vehicles in circulation in Lima, which has led to a saturation of the centers of technical reviews, affecting their ability to perform their tasks effectively. To give some context, these vehicle centers in Peru offer their services to vehicles with an age equal to or greater than 3 years and after that it is carried out on a semi-annual or annual basis, mandatory and by Law. This means that clients undergo their inspection constantly. The company, having a regular flow of vehicles, does not perform maintenance on the equipment, does not have adequate order in the vehicle flow and there is no internal order and cleanliness, which leads to increased costs, deficiency in productivity and loss of competitiveness. That is why the following was done. Firstly, the plant distribution was applied to the current Layout, in this, the physical changes were made to the plant, location of areas, equipment, etc. Through this, the correct movement of the clients and the optimal distribution of the physical areas within the plant were observed so that the client could move in a better and faster way. After that, the standardization of processes was carried out, in third place. , a Total Productive Maintenance “TPM” is proposed which we will focus on autonomous maintenance and planned maintenance, the first we will focus on the participation of operators and production teams and the second on a proactive maintenance strategy that involves the systematic scheduling of maintenance activities based on factors such as time, use or expected wear and tear of equipment and machinery. All this accompanied by the implementation of 5S which will effectively support everything addressed in the current process. Finally, the expected savings from the introduction of these improvement suggestions were calculated, and their profitability was established through a financial analysis. Line maintenance ideas were also examined, evaluating the increase in income due to the increase in the number of customers served.
