This work focuses on addressing and improving the sales margin of a company dedicated to the import, distribution and marketing of chemical products. This improvement is sought through the implementation of an inventory management model based on the ABC classification and the Deming Cycle. Several key problems that negatively affect the company were identified, including lack of inventory control and inefficient product rotation, resulting in high costs and lost sales. To address these challenges, a comprehensive analysis of the company's current situation was conducted, evaluating internal processes and inventory performance. It was determined that the application of ABC classification would allow better prioritization and management of products according to their importance and contribution to the sales margin. Also, the implementation of the Deming Cycle would provide a framework for continuous improvement in inventory management. The proposed model includes the implementation of an ERP system that will facilitate the control and integration of inventory operations, providing a real-time view of stock levels and product demand. In addition, staff training was proposed to ensure proper adoption of the new technologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the company. The expected results of implementing this model include a significant reduction in the costs associated with inventory, a decrease in stock-outs, and a marked improvement in the efficiency of internal processes. Ultimately, these improvements will contribute to an increase in the company's sales margin and greater customer satisfaction by ensuring the availability of critical products.
