Climate change is a problem that affects all countries including Peru and its effects are causing various environmental disasters and the destruction of hydraulic structures. Usually, hydraulic construction designs are carried out based on historical data without considering the projections expressed in climate models. The present work studies the effects of climate change on the geometric design of the gutters built on Centenario Av. and Aviacion Av. in the Calleria district in the city of Pucallpa. For this, the available models that are in the SENAMHI technical reports were used, such as: ACCESS1-0, Had GEM2-ES and MPI-ESM-LR in the value of the median of the three models for the scenario to the year 2050. The IDF curve was obtained for the median of the models and the maximum flow rate was calculated using the Rational method. The results show that the design flows in 2050 are lower than the maximum capacity flows existing in each gutter in study. This indicates that in the projections there would be no risk of flooding or collapse of the drainage system due to climate change.
