This project seeks to provide an alternative to optimize the logistics process in companies importing pharmaceutical products, mainly considering as the main objective to reduce the delay in deliveries of imports from the Lima air customs, since it is the reason that implies a greater impact economic in organizations. Thanks to the analysis of the Pareto diagram and the development of a problem tree, it was possible to identify that imports without advance Customs declaration and the lack of coordination with the main warehouse represented 74% of the main problem. Additionally, in the company under study a lead time of 96 hours was identified in comparison with similar companies in the same sector, which have a lead time of 58 hours, generating a technical gap of 38 hours. The proposal consists of complementing the application of Lean Logistics with RFID technology, following the steps of the DMAIC methodology, which are: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. The objective of the project was to reduce the problem by 74%, and with validation thanks to the use of the Arena Simulator Software, an 81% reduction in the problem was achieved. Additionally, in addition to generating a significant economic impact, environmental impacts are also evident, especially due to the application of RFID technology in the organization.
