In response to changes in consumer behavior and technological advancements, e-commerce has evolved, highlighting the essential role of mobile commerce in the interaction between company and client. Despite its growing importance, there is a gap in research, especially in tourism services. This study aimed to demonstrate the direct relationship between website quality and flow state with impulsive buying in the mobile commerce sector. Additionally, it aimed to verify if the flow state mediates the relationship between website quality and impulsive buying. A questionnaire consisting of 26 items was administered to 403 individuals who had purchased tourism services through a smartphone in the last year. The study utilized the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique and SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the hypotheses. Ultimately, it was found that website quality has a significant positive relationship with the flow state, which in turn has a significant positive relationship with impulsive buying. Although a direct relationship between website quality and impulsive buying was not confirmed, the flow state was evidenced as a mediator in this relationship. This study extends research on mobile commerce in tourism services by examining the importance of the flow state as a mediator to understand impulsive buying. Additionally, it contributes to understanding consumer behavior in digital environments of tourism agencies, providing valuable insights to address challenges and enhance the user experience in this digital ecosystem.
