A process management model accompanied by predictive maintenance was developed. The company that supported us for the study is dedicated to the rental of electric generators, where problems were identified with the execution of maintenance, the availability of inventories and deficient processes. Process management is the basis for achieving the design of the proposed model, the process map will allow a clear view of the sequence of these processes, a process manual as documented support, the implementation of indicators for follow-up and respective monitoring. Predictive maintenance as the main source of information on the different critical components of electric generators will serve as input, internal processes to optimize them and project the minimum necessary inventories. The remote access to the real-time data that characterizes these smart devices will provide the input that generates value to the proposed model. The company has a need to maximize the availability of its electric generators, this indicator has decreased, in 2019 it was 86.3% and in 2022 it was 78.9%, poor maintenance management is identified as the main reason for the problem. With the proposed model, it is expected to obtain 90% availability of generators.
