This project addresses the issue of the lack of recognition and preservation of Cusco imagery, a form of craftsmanship that utilizes wild potatoes as a ma terial. Despite its cultural significance and potential to be declared a cultural heritage of Peru, Cusco imagery faces challenges such as limited exposure, the loss of tradition, and inadequate workshop support for its development. The primary objective of this project is to create a space that facilitates the ex change of techniques and knowledge between master craftsmen and artists, while complying with regulations and establishing innovative parameters in the design of artisan workshops. This work was developed in several stages: surveying the pre-existing conditions, analyzing and diagnosing the context and structure, analyzing users and their functions, proposing design stra tegies, master plan development, sector details, and visual representations. The goal is to provide visibility and enhance the value of Cusco imagery, pro moting its recognition as a cultural heritage of Peru. In conclusion, this project not only aims to highlight the importance of preserving this form of craftsmanship as a cultural expression but also as a means of livelihood for local communities and a legacy for future genera tions. In doing so, it aspires to inspire similar initiatives throughout the coun try, making it a crucial study for understanding and preserving the cultural richness of Peru.
