This work focuses on warehouse management at Obras de Ingeniería Electromecánica SAC (OIEM SAC, s.f.), addressing the challenges in inventory management and proposing solutions to improve operational efficiency. With 13 years of experience in electrical installations, OIEM SAC faces discrepancies between registered outputs and materials received at works, generating operational and control complications. The objective is to identify and address key elements of the problematic situation, proposing technologies and training measures. The analysis is based on data that reveals a 15% discrepancy between recorded outputs and actual income in works, with increase in manual reconciliation times. The problem at OIEM SAC is found in the warehouse area, where manual reconciliation between departures and returns of materials presents challenges, despite having monitoring guidelines. The discrepancy between records and reality affects operational efficiency. This work follows a structure of three chapters, beginning with the presentation of the problematic situation in the company. In the second chapter, the theoretical framework and justification of the topic are addressed. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of possible solutions, such as Process Automation. Identification and Tracking Technology (RFID) and Periodic Audits and Reviews. This case study is developed with information collected through interviews and surveys, thus contributing to the operational efficiency of OIEM SAC and serving as a reference for companies with similar challenges in warehouse management.
