Exports of Peruvian cocoa beans have increased in recent years; since in 2020 the figure reached was 53,685 TN; in 2021, 57,625 TN and in 2022, 64,640 TN. These results do not equal and much less exceed those of other countries, such as Ivory Coast, which in 2022 reached 1,473,363 TN, which means that Peru exported only 4% of said figure. Ecuador obtained 391,727 TN in 2022, which is equivalent to 6 times more than what Peru exported. Therefore, the problem is evident in that although there are elements or factors that drive exports, the results have not been as expected since the country exports at a much lower level than those previously mentioned. Therefore, this research aims to determine how the selected factors influence cocoa bean exports in Peru in the period 2020 – 2022. The scope is descriptive and correlational, since the variables are described and the a relationship between them. The instrument used was the survey and the sampling is non-probabilistic. The results, through the Spearman correlation, showed that the quality and association of producers are moderately related to the export variable; However, the government policy variable does not. Finally, measures are recommended that can be adopted by the State and the cocoa producers themselves so that Peru can increase the level of its exports.
