The importance of public investment in education in emerging economies is a subject that has been widely discussed. A quality education is one of the central issues to achieve the increases in productivity necessary to achieve growth and economic development and, in turn, is associated with high levels of investment aimed at guaranteeing, among other aspects, an adequate educational infrastructure. Within the framework of the government-to-government agreement (G2G), under the implementation of NEC contracts, the ARCC oversees leading and implementing the PIRCC of all the physical infrastructure damaged and destroyed by the El Niño costero phenomenon in 13 regions of the country, within of them Piura-Catacaos. In this sense, the present research work has the objective of verifying the contribution of BIM tools for the design phase of a technical file and how they could contribute to the educational infrastructure construction sector. Allowing to create better workflows, agile and diligent, to obtain a final technical design file in a short time but also to ensure proper functionality of educational infrastructures within quality standards, required technical regulations and careful regulations of national construction.
