Objective: To evaluate the relationship between satisfaction and quality of life in patients treated in the Department of Periodontics and Implants of the Centro Universitario de Salud-Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas del Perú. Materials and Methods: An observational and longitudinal analytical study was conducted; 132 patients were studied from June 2022 to March 2023 who received care in the periodontics and implants area. Evaluations were performed before and 7 days after clinical care. Patient satisfaction was assessed using the SERVQUAL survey, quality of life using the OHIP-14 survey, and pain self-perceived using the Visual Analytical Scale (VAS). Univariate analysis was performed using measures of absolute and relative frequencies, as well as means and standard deviations. In addition, for bivariate analysis, Spearman's test was used to evaluate the relationship between satisfaction and quality of life, with a significance level of p<0.05. Results: After periodontal surgery, patients reported positive satisfaction, especially in the dimensions of responsiveness (1.29) and tangible aspects (1.46). In addition, a significant improvement in postoperative QoL was observed, as evidenced by a significant reduction in social disability (3.39), psychological disability (3.22), and handicap (3.37). Moderate correlations were found between treatment type and satisfaction and quality of life, and between patient type and quality of life. A moderate correlation was also found between patient satisfaction and quality of life (Rho 0.62).
