The purpose of this work of professional sufficiency is to describe the factors that limit the work motivation of administrative assistants in a chain of movie theaters in Metropolitan Lima in the year 2024. For this case study, an exploratory and descriptive qualitative methodology is used through literature review and in-depth interviews with the participation of experts who hold the position of cinema manager in the company under investigation. The results of the study lead to propose three possible solutions to address the problem of lack of motivation. Among these alternatives, transformational leadership training stands out, specifically through a training program aimed at the operations manager and cinema managers. This solution is considered feasible and viable for the company, implying an investment of S/. 13,000 to be carried out within two months. It is important to note that the main cause of the lack of motivation lies in the authoritarian leadership style of the operations manager and cinema managers. This approach has a negative impact on the performance and satisfaction of the administrative assistants, which resulted in a turnover rate of 8% in 2023.
