Nowadays, one of the main axes in sectors such as the economy, due to its considerable contribution to world GDP, is the tourism industry, thanks to the variety of types of tourism that exists, among which experiential tourism stands out, which is characterized by improving the tourist experience and their relationship with the destination, allowing them to experience more rewarding psychological sensations and emotions. The present research aims to demonstrate the effect of user-generated content on the consumer's travel intention, both directly and through the destination image and the perceived value, in the field of experiential tourism. Therefore, causal hypotheses are proposed that seek to respond to the objective, using a quantitative methodology with a sample of 400 people, between nationals and foreigners, who have traveled to a destination within Peru in the last year and have done experiential tourism. Finally, the contribution of the research for sectors such as marketing, tourism or hospitality is to provide more information about the influential elements in the consumer's travel intention and expand the knowledge of experiential tourism.
