Currently, there are various methods and tools to identify the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in workers, affecting their well-being in the short or long term. However, many industrial companies neglect the human factor by focusing solely on production. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate positions in different areas of an industrial plant dedicated to the production of plastic products that could impact the health of employees or cause disabling accidents. This not only harms the individual but also the company, as the required sick leave for recovery necessitates covering the demand with overtime or additional personnel. Regarding the methodology, activities will be assessed using the Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). It is noteworthy that, upon completing the analysis with these ergonomic tools, solutions will be sought through anthropometric techniques. This approach is noteworthy as it allows the work environment to adapt to the needs of the operators, rather than the other way around.
