The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between stress and work performance in 205 workers of a military installation in Metropolitan Lima during COVID-19. It was a non-experimental quantitative study, with a simple correlational design. The ILO-WHO Job Stress Scale and the Koopman Job Performance Scale were applied, using non-probabilistic convenience sampling. In this descriptive analysis of 196 military personnel, Jamovi 2.4.11 software was used to process data, highlighting that most are between 25 and 39 years old, married and come from the Chorrillos Military School; it was revealed that 82.65% have an average job performance, and although specific dimensions were examined, such as task and context, and the variable of job stress was addressed, the results did not show a significant correlation between job performance and job stress, highlighting the complexity of these factors in military contexts.
