E-commerce has experienced considerable growth in Peru, driven largely by the covid-19 pandemic. However, the challenge of implementing omnichannel strategies that are in line with the new market demands arises. Omnichannel means offering a consistent and seamless shopping experience across all channels used by consumers, whether online or offline. The implementation of these strategies is crucial to adapt to the changing demands and behaviors of consumers. Today's customers use several channels and electronic devices during their online purchase process, from the initial research, comparison of options in multiple stores, to the final choice and purchase transaction. Therefore, it is critical to provide a seamless and integrated experience across all channels used. This implies using advanced tools and technologies, as well as developing new customer service models and procedures. Furthermore, building consumer trust is the major challenge. Businesses must address issues such as product selection, the purchasing process, last mile product delivery, and after-sales service to deliver a positive experience and build customer loyalty. Digital transformation and building trust are key elements for success in this field.
