In Peru, MYPEs are part of a specific manufacturing organization, which is composed of different companies and industries that have a significant economic impact on the country. The textile and clothing industry, which is comprised of SMEs, represents over 16% of the manufacturing sector, and over 40% of the companies in Lima are located in this industry. However, it's been observed that there are specific factors and limitations that prevent the growth of MYPEs, these factors lead to the closure of their operations. The following investigation aims to determine the association between perceived productivity factors and corporate competitiveness from the perspective of MYPEs in the textile and clothing industry in metropolitan Lima during the 2019/2020 period. For this investigation, a quantitative, applied, non- experimental and correlational study was conducted, utilizing a 4-dimensional approach: internal processes, learning and growth, costs, and differentiation. A Likert scale survey was conducted with 29 participants from the textile industry of metropolitan Lima who are part of the COMPRAS MYPERÚ program. To assess and review the feedback, we employed the SPSS system and determined that there is no association between the perceived benefits of productivity and business viability from the perspective of executives in the textile and clothing industry of Lima's metropolitan region.
