Introduction: the medical internship, undertaken in the seventh year of the program, integrates theory with clinical practice. Although traditionally conducted in hospital settings, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about structural changes, such as the reduction of total time and the inclusion of primary health centers. Objective: to describe the experiences, learnings, and reflections during the internship at the Health Center Vecinal N°3 and the National Teaching Hospital Madre Niño San Bartolomé, covering a period of 10 months, from June 2022 to March 2023. Methodology: observational descriptive study on the thirty clinical cases from which I gained the most significant insights during the medical internship at the Health Center Vecinal N°3 and the National Teaching Hospital Madre Niño San Bartolomé. Conclusions: throughout my internship, I faced a variety of clinical cases that enriched my education. I acquired skills to identify reasons for consultation, make timely diagnoses, and provide effective treatments, encompassing a comprehensive approach that includes promotion and prevention measures. This experience not only solidified my clinical knowledge but also developed interpersonal skills crucial for my upcoming challenge in SERUMS, marking a pivotal period in my growth as a physician.
