Having a digital presence goes beyond working on multiple screens. In light of the prevalence of the internet, the constant increase in social media users, and the leftover crumbs of Covid-19, brands are forced to develop creative marketing plans to compete effectively in the market. The use of Social Media by brands to communicate with their customers has become an important asset. A dual exchange of information occurs between individuals and companies, and sometimes the first is more responsible for creating the quality content that influences customer behavior. While many studies in the past decade have proven the speeding increase of social media and its importance in the marketing area, previous researchers haven’t had the chance to link the relationship between branding with social media marketing strategies nor to explain its role and importance due to the new consumer after the pandemic. Therefore, this investigation aims to highlight the importance of focusing on branding: emotional and functional when developing social media marketing strategies. Showing how to lead the new path to consumer decisions by understanding the power of neuromarketing. After extended research, it is considered social media marketing strategy and functional branding to measure usability and customer interaction; and intentional or emotional branding to measure intentionality and ability which both can impact purchase intention, loyalty intention and participation intention. The 252 online seven-point Likert scale questionnaires were measured and analyzed by Software SPSS. The results show that functional branding and intentional branding have a significant influence on customer relationship quality, which also leads to a positive impact on customer behavior outcomes. Regarding the originality of this study, it contributes to the literature through a “Framework for Brand Social Media Marketing of Alcohol Beverages - Ready To Drink in the Peruvian Market and in the Millennial Generation”. Marketing practitioners in the industry will find the tools from this study useful to enable them to choose between emotional and functional branding efforts and make strategic decisions accordingly as a result of the relevant contributions that emerge from this study. A further study of offline branding will also be advised as a result of this investigation.
