Objective: this entails a descriptive and analytical exploration of the acquired experiences throughout the timeframe from April 2023 to January 2024 during the medical internship at the Surco Health Center and the María Auxiliadora Hospital. Methodology: this document offers a descriptive and analytical examination of the experiences gained throughout the period from April 2023 to January 2024 during the medical internship at the Surco Health Center and the María Auxiliadora Hospital. Main results or findings: 30 clinical cases are outlined, encompassing key medical specialties including Gynecology-Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Internal Medicine. These cases facilitate the acquisition of vital clinical skills such as gathering pertinent information for medical histories, alongside fostering critical-analytical thinking essential for comprehensive and professional patient care. Conclusion: The medical internship period is a crucial stage in the professional development of medical students as it serves to translate the knowledge accumulated over six years of academic training at medical school into practical experience, thereby shaping them into future doctors. The medical internship trains students with the skills necessary to care for, preserve and restore health at both the individual and community levels. This is achieved through ethical principles by providing comprehensive care, focusing on health promotion and prevention as aspects of utmost importance.
