Traceability in the cold chain emerges as an essential component in this process. Its role is to ensure that frozen mango maintains its quality from its origin in Peruvian plantations to its final destination in the United States. The research conducts a qualitative analysis of practices, regulations, and technologies related to traceability applied in the cold chain, evaluating meticulously. Therefore, important information has been gathered from sources such as Veritrade, ADEX, Data Trade, SIICEX; likewise, from interviews conducted with frozen mango export experts to establish information within the specified period, considering categories such as quality, food safety, and technology to assess how the development of traceability enhances cold chain exports, specifically of mangoes. Following the interviews, relevant responses were obtained for the research's purpose, confirming that traceability enables agro-exporting companies to meet the stringent international requirements of importing markets for Peruvian frozen mango, reducing costs, preventing product losses, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality and safety.
