Streaming video on demand (SVOD) services have increased in popularity in recent years. However, there is relatively little research that provides information on consumers' decision regarding their intention to stay with the different on-demand video streaming services to which they are subscribed. Therefore, the objective of the present research is to explore the relationship between the effect of the content displayed on different streaming platforms, whether original or licensed content, and social influence and how this influence the customers’ decision to stay on their streaming services of choice. The present study will be conducted to users of a population of users who are subscribed to at least one streaming platform (Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Disney +, etc.) aged 18 to 50 years old residents of Metropolitan Lima and the sample to be obtained will be 400 users. For this, a self-administered online survey will be conducted and distributed through social networks. Finally, for the validation of the relationships, the statistical technique of structural equation modeling (SEM) will be used, with data processing through the Smart PLS software.
