In a context of a more globalized society rooted in technology. Mobile applications have taken a leading role as influential media in the lifestyle of people and their needs. On the other hand, due to the constant wave of health-related diseases and the lack of physical activity in people, the appearance of mobile health applications emerges as a tool for the control and prevention of diseases through different operating systems. For this reason, fitness applications are intended to counteract a sedentary lifestyle and promote a healthy lifestyle through goal setting, a balanced diet guide, and the recommendation of exercises according to the established objectives. Likewise, there are various factors related to the level of health consciousness, technology readiness for applications and prior subjective knowledge that consumers have regarding an application. It is for this reason that this study focuses on exploring the reasons why, based on the variables, they have sufficient influence to motivate users of fitness applications to maintain continuous use despite the different applications that exist within from the market.
