Nowadays technology is capable of providing many tools that make people's lives easier and can also be used by companies to help their customers interact with their products or services. And it is in this interaction where companies have problems that, without realizing it, can generate costs and erode the relationship with their customers, as is the case with the level of satisfaction they may have when purchasing their products. With the 2020 pandemic, the distance between the client and the company increased due to social distancing, temporary isolation and controlled capacity as measures to avoid an increase in the number of infections. These provisions showed a new challenge: how to bring the client closer without violating established norms. Even more so in the Retail sector, where the proximity of the product to the customer is an essential part of closing sales. In the footwear sector, one of the difficulties encountered during the pandemic is sizing. This problem increased during the pandemic, although it is not a new problem that represents for the company a management time that increases costs and for the customer an inconvenience when requiring an exchange or return of the purchased product. It is for this reason that the objective of this work is to design and implement a shoe size measurement system to reduce order returns due to size changes, which gives the client the possibility of achieving a better reality in their sizing, obtaining the best options regarding their choice and, for the company, provide its customers with a means of direct interaction with its products and reduce operating costs.
