This work proposes an innovative solution to address the problem of fractures in critical points of the body of older adults, such as the hip and head, with the aim of mitigating falls associated with osteoporosis or loss of bone mass. The methodology is based on a simulation system that combines virtual mechanics with simulated electronics in a controlled environment through fall detection. The study included investigation of physical properties of the simulated compressed air expelled by the virtual CO2 cartridge, such as output volume and pressure, to select appropriate parameters for the design of the automatic mechanism and virtual airbags. The mechanism responsible for inflating the airbag is located inside a virtual suit designed to expand along with the airbags. The main contribution lies in the simulated automatic activation prototype and the design of the coverall, allowing the effectiveness of fall mitigation to be simulated and evaluated in a virtual environment.
