This research examines the perception of healthcare professionals responsible for providing therapy to children with disabilities regarding inclusion and diversity in advertising campaigns for children's clothing, using the case study of the "¡Ya llegó EuReKa! a Plaza Vea" commercial. To carry out this analysis, a qualitative study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with 20 healthcare professionals specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, rehabilitation medicine, and orthopedics who have experience in pediatrics and work in hospitals within EsSalud's Healthcare Network. Among the main conclusions, it was found that the respondents perceive diversity and inclusion presented in the commercial in a positive way. They highlighted the use of positive elements such as the participation of a child with Down syndrome in various activities shown in the spot. However, it is evident that this representation uses assimilation as a form of inclusion, which can lead to invisibility by not considering their specific characteristics or needs. Despite this, for the most part they consider this spot to be a positive representation which could potentially have a favorable influence on the social inclusion of children with disabilities. Nevertheless, this research suggests that it is important for brands to accompany their communication with inclusive actions or programs in order to avoid negative reactions from the public. Additionally, it was found that there is a lack of awareness about the existence of work inclusion program implemented by the brand.
