The main objective of the following article is to know the perception that parents have about the roles of paternity represented in the advertising of children's products through the advertising campaign “New Huggies Active Sec Pants” of the Huggies brand. Therefore, qualitative research methodology was used through semi-structured interviews. The results concluded that parents positively perceive the parenting models represented in the advertising of children's products, since they generate great identification with them due to the sensitivity demonstrated by these representations. However, they also point out that this type of representation is still low and does not represent all fathers in their entirety, since not all behave in a similar way to the aforementioned model and there are still sexist stereotypes of fathers in the advertisement. For this reason, it is necessary that more and more brands choose to represent the father as someone more expressive and involved in raising children to generate a more attractive and innovative message that moves away from the classic stereotypes of a macho father.
